Hello everyone,
This featue has since been implemented in the events system. Please note that the ability to delete tickets on an active event is only possible if you have absolutely no registrants for that ticket in your active event. As long as the ticket has either not been previously selected by a registrant, or all previous registrants for that ticket have been cancelled, then the ticket can be deleted off of the active event.
