Within mimecast, I personally added all 9 CC URLs from the CC safelist our domains list. As a CC user, I cannot receive my own test emails, so I use my personal email to preview. Other colleagues also subscribe using personal email addresses if they want any chance at receiving emails we send using CC. My IT dept advised me to instruct colleagues who want to subscribe with work email address to whitelist CC domains -- but it doesn't work. CC has no other resolution.

Thank you. Part of the technical obstacles was special characters; the other part was Excel formulas vs copying the column, pasting as text, and saving as a CSV for upload to CC.

Hello CC, Looks like the segmenting tool got an update. I'm surprised that I can choose click/not click, opened/not opened -- but I cannot choose sent / not sent. (see screen capture). The business case: my company has multiple CC users. I recently uploaded a list and want to ensure those individuals haven't received any other email campaigns within the past 2 months. (Not sent seems the most direct criterion. What do you suggest if "Not sent" isn't an option.) Thanks!

I also have noticed the effects of bot-clicks or server-clicks in click reports. The sign is 10 clicks attributed to one email address. Will bots click fewer links? For example, one email address clicks only the first four links. I've observed this pattern at a different company.

Thanks, William. So accented characters are ok. I was able to successfully upload CSV and TXT files to test this. However, other special characters in Spanish and Portuguese names and company names cannot be uploaded. Is that correct? In particular, I'm considering letters such as ñ, ç, õ , ã.

Thanks for this reply. I was able to copy and paste Spanish text into an email message. Are CSV or TXT files with special characters in email recipient names or their company names still not allowed on CC?

This CC support reply is dated 2020. It's now May, 2024; does CC support 16-bit character sets? I've had problems uploading email lists with Spanish as well as Portuguese characters. Those customers like hearing from us and receiving our enewsletters, when we used to use Mailchimp.

When creating an email and inserting a hyperlink, I'm given the option to check the box and enable click segmentation. If I choose click segmentation, the dropdown menu shows existing lists in a very random order. For efficiency, the dropdown menu can be in alphabetical order... or a search function can enable users to search the lists by specific words in the list name. Then I'd be able to quickly find the correct list -- and continue to create the email. Thank you in advance for taking these suggestions into consideration.
