Good morning! I am brand spanking new to Constant Contact - and I am also a senior citizen. I am on the Board of Directors of a nonprofit organization (501c(7), head of their Program/Activities Committee, and handle all advertising and social media activity. I suggested that we join Constant Contact as a means of reaching more of our members with info about upcoming events, announcements and enlisting volunteers. I signed up for a Trial Membership and sent out a Welcome message to other members of our Board this morning so they can see how CC works. Prior to the end of this trial membership our Board will vote on whether or not to sign up for a 6-month or 12-month subscription. I have signed up using my personal e-mail address and will need guidance on how to transition to a new email for our organization....I'm sure I will need guidance on many other aspects of how CC works and how to use it to the best advantage of our organization. If our Board decides on a subscription I will have a sign-up page on our website and direct our members there to opt-in for messages or perhaps an e-newsletter. Is there an additional charge to have members sign up for SMS text messages?
