Are you still experiencing the issues described? I didn't see this occurring when testing in your account at all, the footer seems setup correctly, and the RSNO setup opens the full pop-up window.

You should have the option in any email template to adjust colors, including background color and text colors. Here is a guide that should assist you in doing so.
