Re-subscribing Contacts

I need help with re-subscribing contact to our emails. The problem we are having is we deal with an older generation that is not too technologically advanced. I have situations where someone may forward an email and the recipient of that email will unsubscribe our person from receiving an future emails or our own people will accidentally unsubscribe themselves. I know we can send a "Re-subscribe Confirmation" email. But again with an older generation they don't always remember to be on the look out for the email sent. I need a way to manually add contacts back. I have a person who was sent a confirmation email in 2020. Obviously they did not confirm and no longer has the email. Please help with this.

Hello @SCCUMC ,

The easiest method for a contact to resubscribe to you would be for them to go through one of your sign up forms.

If they’re unable to get signed back up through a sign up form or through the resub email, you can request our Review team do a manual override of the unsubscription. You’ll need to get an email directly from the contact explicitly stating they want to be resubscribed. Then you’ll need to call into the Review team, and follow their processes from there.

Since there are a number of legal and Compliance-related elements to unsubscribing and resubscribing, we have to make sure one of these three processes is followed.
