WooCommerce + Constant Contact Integration

On the settings page for this plug in, there is a question that asks:

"At checkout, new customers must check a box if they want to receive marketing emails from you. Do you want this box checked by default?"

I selected to have the box "checked by default" for marketing emails. But, the box is clearly NOT checked by default on the check-out page. Can anyone help me with this please?

Have you checked your WooCommerce account's settings to see if there'd be anything preventing our integration from being able to auto-checkmark that? Or has WC's support been able to shed any light on why the checkmark isn't auto-checked?
