text block formatting not saving

Found a new bug today, add it to the list.

 

Formatted my text boxes to the font and font size I wanted.  Went to send it and all of the formatting was gone.  Fixed it back and it happened again.  WHAT YOU SEE IS NOT WHAT YOU GET.  

 

It was left justified not centered.

Size 18 Font, not 28.

 

Looks fine in the editor.  Go to send and BAM it's all hosed.  Can you make this experience any more frustrating?  It's hard enough to find talented employees that want to work.  No one wants to work on this buggy disaster of an editor.

 

I'm so tired of all of the hassles of using this site.  It's reprehensible that no one at Constant Contact tests anything.

Based on your description, it sounds like you're experiencing connectivity troubleshooting, or the text block you're trying to edit is either: containing text that wasn't completely cleared of formatting before being pasted in, or you're trying to edit in a template that's several generations of copied-copies deep and has built up junk coding.

 

I'd recommend performing the following troubleshooting steps, to narrow down the source of the issue so it can be corrected:

  • Perform basic connectivity troubleshooting
  • Manually type out and format the text in a fresh new text block, to see if it's a matter of either copied-over formatting or an issue with the one particular text block
  • See if the issue occurs in a fresh, newly made email - especially a blank one.

If performing one of these standard troubleshooting steps alleviates your issue, I'd advise calling our general support so they can continue troublehsooting live with you.
