It’s been a year of trying new marketing strategies with our Marketing Manager customers, helping them reach their business goals. Here are some of the results we saw:

Their Marketing Manager advised them to display a printed QR code linked to a sign-up landing page to gather SMS phone numbers. They placed signage at checkout counters, which drove an average of 30 new contacts monthly and a 93% yearly increase in new contacts! When they launched a daily special, sending an SMS text message with a coupon link, cars lined up at the car wash within the hour. “I think this is working. We have a line already!

 

Another Marketing Manager helped a retail client promote a Labor Day sale, driving one of their most successful holidays ever. By running a Facebook ad and a Google Search ad, they generated over $2,000 in online sales and drew in numerous first-time customers!

 

A restaurant in a highly competitive market aimed to boost its social media presence. Starting with Facebook ads, the client achieved a staggering 2,800% increase in reach, hitting 236,262 views. This drove over 6,000 visits—a 549% surge—and a 411% jump in page likes. Their Instagram page also saw significant growth: a 54% boost in reach and a 140% increase in new followers. These remarkable results demonstrate the Marketing Manager’s effective approach, strengthening the restaurant's online presence, broadening its audience reach, and fostering high community growth.

We are an extremely small business, a health and wellness provider in our community. Also, not a lot of marketing experience in house! Our biggest challenge is reaching the majority of our potential customers and partners. Over the last ~16 months, using Constant Contact, we grew our client email list by 100%, and social media by 30-40%. That would be our biggest success. That, and about double the number of referrals. (Marketing skills improving through trial and error.)

Of course, these results may sound solid and sustaining but we still seem to work just as hard to fill up our services and offerings. We really need to continue reaching new segments of our community and keep them coming back. It's a grind but that overwhelmingly positive feedback that comes in every once in a while, makes it all worthwhile.

I’ve been in the recycling industry for over 40 years now. It’s a field that’s taught me patience, resilience, and the value of hard work. Over the decades, I’ve seen trends come and go, but one thing that stayed constant was how we did business—mostly face-to-face, through phone calls, or by word of mouth. Marketing, especially online marketing, was something I never imagined myself doing.

 

To be honest, I didn’t feel like I needed it. But as times changed, it became clear that the way we connect with customers was changing too. We had to adapt. That’s when I stumbled upon a webinar introducing Constant Contact. It made email marketing sound so accessible, even for someone like me who isn’t particularly tech-savvy.

 

At first, I was skeptical. Technology can feel overwhelming when it’s unfamiliar, and the idea of diving into email marketing felt like climbing a mountain. But I decided to give it a try, and to my surprise, it wasn’t as complicated as I feared. The Constant Contact platform was simple to navigate, and whenever I hit a snag, there were always resources—guides, tutorials, or support staff—ready to help. It wasn’t perfect overnight, but I never felt unassisted.

 

Fast forward to today, and I can honestly say email marketing has been a game-changer for Tires Express LLC. One of our biggest successes this year was a 4th of July campaign encouraging customers to schedule tire pick-ups. Thanks to that campaign, we saw a surge in engagement and brought in more business during a time when things usually slow down. For someone who had always relied on traditional methods, seeing this kind of impact was a real eye-opener.

 

Email marketing didn’t just help us grow—it allowed us to share the stories that matter most. This year, for instance, we took on one of our largest projects yet: cleaning up over 700 tons of tires from a fire-damaged warehouse in Beloit. It was a huge effort, but it showcased our commitment to the environment and the Milwaukee community.

 

What I appreciate most about Constant Contact is how it made something that seemed intimidating feel achievable. It reminded me that adapting to change doesn’t mean starting over; it means building on what you’ve already worked hard to establish. And for me, it meant finding a new way to connect with the customers and communities that make this work worthwhile.

 

If you’d told me a year ago that I’d be using email campaigns to grow my business, I wouldn’t have believed you. But here I am, grateful for the guidance and support that helped me take this step forward. My biggest success this year was saying goodbye to my out of date email service provider and switching to Constant Contact.  It was painful, not going to lie.  I ended up on the SpamHaus list because of some of the practices of my former provider.  BUT, I persevered, got that solved, and I completed the switch.  Now my emails are ALWAYS delivered and my sales are up 10%!

Our team, with a fresh leadership lineup, achieved remarkable milestones, and we’re excited to continue this momentum into 2025.

 

Key Highlights from 2024:

  • Furnished Over 5,000 Homes: This year, we made a tangible difference by furnishing over 5,000 homes for families and individuals in need. 🏘
  • 20,000th Home Furnished: A major milestone! We’ve now furnished over 20,000 homes since our inception, impacting thousands of lives. 🏡
  • 550+ Social-Service Partnerships: We forged connections with over 550 organizations across the Chicagoland area, multiplying our reach and amplifying our impact. 🤝
  • 50,000+ Pieces of Furniture Distributed: We distributed more than 50,000 pieces of furniture, providing comfort and dignity to thousands of people. 🛋
  • 500+ New Volunteers: Over 500 passionate volunteers joined our cause, giving their time and energy to help end furniture poverty. 🤚
  • 12 New Target Segments for Outreach: We launched newsletters to connect with 12 new target segments, expanding our outreach and raising awareness of our mission. ✔️

2024 was also a year of change and growth within our leadership team. Over the span of just 8 months, we welcomed new leadership: a Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Development Officer, Senior Director of Finances, and a Chief Executive Officer. This dynamic leadership has been essential in driving our success.

 

We are building for an even stronger 2025. The service goals continue to increase and with them so does the need for more fundraising/forms of revenue. The tools we use with constant contact will be paramount to connecting with new donors, reengaging current/past donors, and spreading our mission to partners.

Here at Maple Landmark in Middlebury, VT we have worked hard to continue to be better known in the wooden toy market with our made in USA products.

We are always creating new products and in the lead up to this holiday season focused on creating a pastel version of our very popular hardwood Name Puzzles. Available in 3 to 12 letter boards, most names can be spelled. We even have customers purchasing our product to teach their children to spell a long last name!

Our Name Puzzles and NameTrains are two of our high volume products especially during the holiday season and I love that we are able to provide products that any child (or train lover) can have customized. 

We strive to create visually appealing, educational, long lasting, and durable products for children of any age.

We utilize email and social media marketing to current customers and taking advantage of print media and paid social ads to get our product into the hands of as many children as possible.

Constant Contact has been an excellent tool for our nonprofit and has helped us spread the word about our goals and mission to provide affordable, high-quality early learning for underserved children from working families, preparing them for success in kindergarten and beyond.
 
An example of when we used email marketing to help us achieve our goal was this past month for Giving Tuesday. Our organization had an email campaign for Giving Tuesday, and the results were incredible. By highlighting our mission and sharing with our supporters where the funds are going, we created emails through Constant Contact and added call-to-action for donations. It was a huge success, and we achieved three times the amount of donations than the year before.
