Active automation campaign doesn't send out emails

Hello,

I have created an automation email "Client Feedback Survey" which sends out the email once an individual is added to a specific list. When I added someone within the last 24 hours, it is showing that an email was not sent to that person. I tried removing them and adding them again but still had the same issue. Why won't it send to the addition to the list?

Hi !

Thanks for reaching out to the Community! Your Client Feedback Survey automation is set up as a Welcome email, which is a very specific type of automation. Welcome emails will only send out to new subscribers coming in from a web signup form. It will not send out to people you add to the list yourself.

I recommend you use an Automated Series with a list join trigger. This automation will send out to subscribers as they are added to the list, will work for new and existing subscribers, and will send out if subscribers come in through a web signup form or if you add them to the list yourself.

This makes complete sense. I'll give this a try.
