Automations Triggers

My org uses connectivity between Constant Contact and DonorPerfect. I'm currently setting up a "welcome flow" automation sequence and the trigger is when people are subscribed to our national mailing list. New donors processed through donorperfect are subscribed to that same list, so my question is will the connection between dp & cc trigger the automation fro new donors? That connection is set to refresh every 24hrs.

If the automation trigger is for new subscribers, then the DonorPerfect integration will not trigger the automation. New subscriber automations trigger from direct sign-up form additions, and are brand new contacts. 

If the automation trigger is list addition, then the integration will trigger the automation, as long as the contact isn't already on the applicable list.
