CSV Import - message that 434 contacts had no email

I uploaded a CSV with roughly 2800 rows, ALL OF WHICH have email addresses (I verified several times in Excel). When I import into my list of contacts, it says "Imported 2330 contacts (x new, y updated)" and "Not imported 434 contacts without email addresses".

 

This seems problematic.  What am I doing wrong?

Hi @user19418. Without knowing what the file looks like, it's hard to tell right away why the email addresses aren't showing. Please email us at communitysupport(at)constantcontact(dot)com with your username, a reference to this post, and the file you uploaded.
