After setting up our event and connecting paypal (we don't want to use stripe), we click to ACTIVATE EVENT, but are getting an error that says PAYMENT ACCOUNT CANNOT BE FOUND FOR THE SPECIFIED ID followed by a long string of alphanumeric characters. Any ideas? We need to get our event online and this is holding things up.
Hello @MarieS34859 ,
Are you able to get any insight from PayPal support regarding your account's setup or type? Is there anything in its settings that wouldn't allow for payments, based on your tickets' names or descriptions, or based on your business/org type?
We have received a couple other reports of this issue, so I've tracked the issue to your account for our devs' investigation. At this time, the only known workaround would be to use a different payment method.
Since this error is newer and there's not a lot of account info to pull from at this time, we don't have an ETA on any kind of update. If you're able to get any further insight from PayPal's support on what might be causing that error, please reply here so we can get your case updated with that info. If you try to reconnect the PayPal account and get the alphanumeric code again, please share that as well, or see if PayPal would have any insight on that.
