Every Tuesday we'll share tips, tricks, and insights on using Constant Contact and online marketing
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a primary method of making your accounts more secure. In this digital age, more accounts and their passwords are being leaked than ever before. In the past, a secure password was enough to secure your account; today, adding another security layer on top is necessary.
Think of your debit card. To withdraw money at the ATM, you need a physical card and a secure PIN. MFA works the same way, you need your account password as well as additional verification, such as getting a unique code emailed or texted to your account or an authenticator code.
To see how to set up MFA on your Constant Contact Account, check out this handy tutorial.
-
From the home page, click your name in the upper right, and then click on my account.
-
Scroll down to the multi-factor authentication section.
-
If prompted, enter your constant contact username and password, then click sign in.
-
You'll be prompted to choose one of the following options to set up your secondary factor of authentication.
