Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a primary method of making your accounts more secure. In this digital age, more accounts and their passwords are being leaked than ever before. In the past, a secure password was enough to secure your account; today, adding another security layer on top is necessary.

Think of your debit card. To withdraw money at the ATM, you need a physical card and a secure PIN. MFA works the same way, you need your account password as well as additional verification, such as getting a unique code emailed or texted to your account or an authenticator code.

To see how to set up MFA on your Constant Contact Account, check out this handy tutorial.

  1. From the home page, click your name in the upper right, and then click on my account.

  2. Scroll down to the multi-factor authentication section.

  3. If prompted, enter your constant contact username and password, then click sign in.

  4. You'll be prompted to choose one of the following options to set up your secondary factor of authentication.

    1. Okta verify.

    2. Google Authenticator, SMS authentication.

    3. Voice call authentication.

  5. Choose your preferred method and save.
