I'm getting the following message whenever I try to save a note. This happened intermittently, but now seems to happen with any note on any contact.

I'm not sure if the error message didn't copy in, or if it was omitted, but there are some troubleshooting questions I can ask in regards to the saving / note issues for contacts:
- Are the affected contacts in Awaiting Confirmation or No Permissions Set status? Error message: “There was a problem saving your note. Please try again later”
- Does re-importing the contacts with the new note included as a column allow them to update?
- Are there a lot of non-alphanumeric characters in the note? Does removing them allow the note to save?

Yes, I inadvertently omitted the error msg, but the error you mention in your #1 above is correct: that's the message I get. I get it all the time now on a variety of notes. I.E. I can't think of anything unique about these contacts. Most have been in CC for some time, and the note in each case is to explain why I am setting them to temp hold or possibly unsubscribed.
The notes are simple ASCII text, for example: "DOC: Bounced from 24 Dec 30 greeting"
I'll try the export/re-import with note.
