Can an event be open if it is closed? I duplicated an event and it is saying it is closed even though the dates are still open. Thank you,

Hello @ChristineS48 ,

Once an event is in Ended status, whether done manually or automatically, it can't be reopened. If you've toggled off "Accepting new registrations" or the event is still in Draft status then it will be closed to registrations. If the tickets for an event have been setup to only be available for specific dates, and there are currently no available tickets, then the event will be closed for registration.

Hi @ChristineS48 that happened to me too - Here is the solution I found... After duplicating your event, update the details accordingly - THEN you need to go and EDIT TICKET details (second tab) - Click on the "3 dots" in the TICKETS section. This will show you a drop-down list - select the first option in the drop down "EDIT" - A new pop-up will appear - Change the "Ticket Sale Date Range" to match your NEW event, and click on the "Save & Close" button. I hope that helps.
