I'm trying to upload a PDF to email, which I've done many times before. The PDF is under 5 MB (2.6 MB), and opens fine in Adobe Acrobat, yet I keep receiving the error message that it failed to process the PDF. I tried resaving the file, renaming the file - nothing has worked. Has anyone else run into this?

Hello @FirstNameL589430 ,

You said you've already tried renaming the file, are there any special characters like parantheses or apostrophes in the name? Does having only letters and/or numbers in your file's name alleviate the issue?

Is there a description in the file's properties that contains special (non-alphanumeric) characters? If so, does removing these (or the entire description) allow the file to upload as expected?

Does compressing the file in its native program, or a third party site, allow the compressed version to upload and convert properly?

Are you able to upload the PDF directly into your library, create the email from scratch, and then go about inserting the auto-generated first page image and document linking?

Hi William, thanks for your response. The file name does not include any special characters like parentheses or apostrophes and contains only letters, no numbers. It is a multi-page layout (newsletter) originally created in Adobe Illustrator, and uses Illustrator's file compression settings when saving as a PDF. I have done this many, many times before (file names are the same every time; the only thing that changes is the name of the month). Every once in awhile it just gives me an error message and refuses to upload.

My method is to go to "Start Creating", click "Emails", and then upload my PDF - I've tried dragging and dropping and also manually selecting the file from my computer.
