Hot to change a text box margin?

Is there anyway to extend the default margin in the text and image box? 

Even the Section box has the default margin. How do I over ride it?

You cannot, there will always be a default amount of padding for text blocks, to avoid them bleeding over the edges of borders and inner background sections.

Is there a way to adjust the margins so there is a little less white space left and right within the text box?

No, not really. There may be some fluctuation, depending on the alignment and amount of text you add, but there's always a default, non-removable amount of padding around text blocks at this time.
