Lead Magnet

I am offering my customers a freebie/lead magnet. I want individuals to be able to input their information and the document be sent to them for download. I do not think creating a landing page will work because if an individual is already subscribed to my newsletter they will not have the ability to get the freebie because they already exist in the system. I called customer support and was informed that Constant Constant does not a feature like this, I am requesting that you consider adding a feature like this. "Stan" a platform where creators and businesses can offer a freebie and through their "collect email" feature creators can upload their document and when a customer inputs their information i.e. name, email, phone number, that will trigger the document to send to their inbox automatically. The only thing is I can't imagine paying for another platform just for that feature when Constant Contact is so comprehensive.

Hi @Kadi-AnnB,

When you connect a landing page with a list and then set up an automation, you absolutely can send them whatever resource you want. It doesn't matter if they are already in your account. Just set up a new list for them to be added to when they fill out the LP and make sure your automation is set to be triggered when a contact joins that new list!

Here's an article about setting up a landing page that might be helpful!

Hi @Kadi-AnnB. This is possible using Constant Contact and there are two different ways to accomplish it.

The first would be to create a lead generation landing page. On the Thank You page, add a button with a link to your document (this can be uploaded to the library). Your contact doesn't need to go to their inbox to download the document.

However, if you prefer to include an email in the lead process, there is another way to engage with this new lead. You'll create the landing page to collect their information and create a new list as well. After that, you'll create a list-join path that will send an email after a contact is added to the list. You don't want to use a welcome email template since those only trigger to send to contacts who are not already in your account.
