Since I can't eat gluten, I haven't had a pie since 2017. But I love pumpkin pie and apple pie, but honestly, if a GF pie was sat in front of me, I'd eat it no matter what it was. 🤷🏻♀️

Hi @JOES9041,
This is great! It's a perfect SMART goal. One thing I would mention is that if you have your clients' email addresses already in another database (not Constant Contact), it is permissible for you to add them to your CTCT account. These folks fall under the "Implied Consent" category for collecting email addresses. Since you already have a working relationship with them, you can add them to your list without them giving you express permission to do so. So that might help you reach your goal a little bit faster!

Hi @EvgenyR95,
While I understand your endgame with your goal, it is not very specific or measurable. I would recommend reviewing the components of SMART goals and see if you can come up with something a little more fleshed out. Staying top of mind is not a bad thing to want at all, but it is difficult to measure. Maybe think about engagement on social media and your email marketing. You can measure your open or click-through rates and your engagement on social media... These sorts of data points are indicators that you are showing up in front of your target audience and they are paying attention.

Hi @AmberS21,
This is a great start! One thing to consider when making goals like this is to set a specific number to target: Increase Fullscript orders by X%, Grow community to 100 members, etc. Attaching a specific number to a goal will allow you to measure it to see if you hit your goal in three months.

Hi @user93539, Your goal of "increased engagement" is a little vague in that you don't give a specific target that you are trying to reach. Try to come up with a specific number: increase engagement rate to X, or increase our engagement rate by x%, which would be helpful for this goal-setting exercise!

Hi @DavidT, It will be helpful for this exercise if you qualify what an "increase in ticket sales" means to you. Do you want to hit a certain number? Increase by a certain percentage? Add that in to make your goal measurable.

Hi @RichieC87,
This is a great start! In order to be a SMART goal, this needs to be specific and measurable. So, think about specific numbers you want to hit. Examples: Increase our overall following by 10% between all of our platforms; Reach 200 followers on all accounts, etc. That way, you know if you hit your goal when you reach the time designated!

Hi @AnnaN33,
Could you please clarify for me? Do you mean you want to see 60 clicks going to your Facebook page from your email, or do you want your posts on Facebook to get at least 60 clicks?

Hi @NCES,
A 40% CTR is really high, but it is not out of the realm of possibility. What is your CTR right now? To achieve that goal, your email should have only one Call to Action to make it ridiculously easy for your readers to know what you want them to do.

Hi @user189495,
What would be helpful is to set a number for the increase in visitors so you know if you reached your goal by the end of the date you have set. Work on that, and you will be ready for the next step of the challenge!
