Promote my business on social media

Please help me promote my business on Facebook and Instagram and wherever social media platform will achieve my goal of adding at least 10 more clients

Hi @SkylarL797. Let me first say how much I appreciate that you're working toward SMART goals: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound to add new clients to your business.

Using social media and other online platforms is a great way to reach your audience. My suggestion is to first identify the primary platform your audience uses then focus your efforts there. Once you've got a good cadence and are comfortable there, you can diversify to other platforms if you feel it's needed.

 

Secondly, make sure you have an "offer that converts:" are people already buying what you're selling? If so, great! If not, you'll want to focus on your marketing funnel to get those sales.

 

Third, think about the kind of content your audience craves and give it to them. Generally speaking, social media content performs best when it follows the 80/20 rule: 80% social, engaging content + 20% promotional content. 

 

Lastly, I hope you'll consider using social media to grow your email list. That's where the gold really is!

Whenever I work with a new social media client, the first thing we do is audit their accounts to ensure they are set up correctly to maximize their organic impact. One of the biggest hurdles my clients have to overcome to be successful on social media is realizing that they are meant to be SOCIAL. Your social channels should not be treated as billboards where you all do is advertise your services. To really succeed on social media, you've got to engage and work on building relationships. The algorithms will like you better, and so will your network!
