Remove Outer Background

Hello: Is it possible to remove the outer background of an email campaign? I would like the email, regardless of how the email is opened, to fill the entire screen, similar to a traditional email.

Note: I understand the background color can be changed to white, but this is not what I am looking for.

No, it isn't possible to remove the outer background of an email. You may be able to accomplish this using the custom code editor, if you know HTML, but we wouldn't have any guidance nor insight on setting this up.

We appreciate the chiming in! And for the sake of use cases, I'm curious if you would be able to share why you would like to have a plain body/text email (for lack of a better description)? It would be helpful for our developers to know.

@Nick_S  I came on here to search for this options. Sometimes we want to communicate in a more personal way to have the look of a traditional email without images. In testing we have found a higher response rate to fundraising emails when they are sent in this style. 

Has this been updated since 2023 when this was initially asked?

Thank you for the explanation for why this would be a useful feature for you! There hasn't been any updates since my last reply and as far as I know is not on the current roadmap for the immediate future. Your research showing that it yields better results for fundraising emails is quite interesting, though. I'd be happy to forward that along to our developers for review.
