It rarely captures anything correctly and overrides the brand kit we create. It's preventing us from using other features because there is no way seemingly to bypass it.

Are you encountering this issue with specific email template options where it's forcing you to scan the website, instead of just continuing to the template? Or is this occurring with different campaign types as well? Are you unable to select any other available options, that allow you to use your saved colors from the BrandKit?
