To whoever really cares....
You have to know that the recently modified rs6.net changes are crippling our business, and we are losing customers! The warning and subsequent error messages are preventing customers from registering for and completing their registration process.
To not have this update adequately tested is irresponsible to us as your customers.
To put numbers against my claim, we launched 4 registration sites in the last 6 weeks and have less than 10% of our normal registered attendees.
There is no way to make up for lost customers, revenue or our reputation.
At the very least, please add a line or two of code that allows us to turn off or disable click tracking before we launch a campaign or program.
We have spent countless hours on the phone with the Support team and no one seems to care.
We get the same response, "have your customers use a different browser or have them whitelist the site". Neither are possible due to the nature of our customer base (hospitals and healthcare providers).
Can you please consider the impact to your customers when making updates or changes to the platform? This recent change has brought our organization to a complete stand still.
Hi @JMN. I'm very sorry to hear this and how our links are affecting your business. I see you've spoken with our support team. Unfortunately, this is caused by a third-party issue with various security programs. Constant Contact continuously works with these security programs to address our links but in the end, they must make the decision to lift they block for all users and we cannot override their decision. Safelisting our URLs needs to be done at an individual level.
We do not have plans to allow for the disablement of tracked links because untracked links can be exploited by bad actors. If a campaign was sent out with spam or malware we'd lose the ability to break that link.
We’re here to help you grow. With how-to tutorials, courses, getting-started guides, videos and step-by-step instructions to start and succeed with Constant Contact.
