Optimize your text and images to work for the social channels of your choice
You can also create your own social posts and customize it to work with different platforms.
When using social posts, it’s important to keep in mind that while your audience probably overlaps between your email endeavors and social media ambitions, it’s a whole different ball game. If you need some inspiration, we have a wonderful guide on how to Own the Social Sphere.
First, you want to make sure that the image(s) you are using are optimized for the social media platform you’re going to post to. Images on Facebook and Instagram scale differently and if you’re posting to both you wouldn’t want the image to look worse for wear or cropped.
Every platform also has their own character limits for the text associated with the post. Most are pretty generous, but if you’re also posting to Twitter then make sure to keep the 280 character limit in mind. That said, during the creation stage you can opt to make different posts for each platform all on the same page!
