@William_A ok, but... you can see how that's obnoxious, no? Especially if starting from scratch or using a CC template. Not every email is gonna use the same saved template. Many of us don't reuse templates at all, ever. What in particular about the new UX that makes that functionality deprecated? That seems like a step backwards.

I also get 98%+ desktop opens. That can't be right. There are dozens of opens in each email I send, but all of them are less than 2% mobile opens. I KNOW my peeps are opening emails on their phones, most likely by a ratio of 2:1 or more. If this is an consequence of Apple's privacy changes, WHY BOTHER INCLUDING IT IN THE REPORT??

@William_A be that as it may, respectfully, it's still an apples to oranges comparison. "Fully closing" out an app is the desktop equivalent to logging out and closing your browser. It takes a deliberate, conscious action to perform. And if you don't do that, what happens after many hours have gone by on your phone, as opposed to 15 minutes on desktop? What if: I'm checking my CC app on my phone while commuting on public transit and accidentally leave it behind on the seat -- perhaps without locking my device? Does this not open a hypothetical doomsday scenario that you're ostensibly trying to guard against?? And fwiw: I totally rolled my eyes that I had to once AGAIN log in to write this reply on my laptop, but when I click the notification in my email from my phone, it took me straightaway to this post, hassle-free. That's quite a glaring inconsistency with your site policy. Who's in charge of CC website security? Perhaps they need to be notified 😏🙃

Super honest question in search of an honest answer regarding THIS FEATURE REQUEST FOR LOGOUT TIMES: Why doesn't the CC mobile app follow the same stringent login security rules❓
That is to say, why is it my mobile device -- which, arguably, is much more prone to getting lost and falling into the wrong hands -- can login repeatedly for days on end, without needing so much as a fingerprint 🧐

@Caitlin_M it's not clear why this isn't implemented. WHAT exactly about the Segment list page makes it so we can't edit Contact details?? It doesn't make sense that we can "Add/Remove to List", or "Unsubscribe/Delete" but not otherwise edit contacts in the Segment list. It makes even LESS sense that we can do so from the Lists, Tags, and (all)Contacts page... but not the Segment list page. Please clarify why this is is the way it is, and why it has been for so long now.

For some reason the side panel wasn't scrolling, so I couldn't see the "Add Network" button at the bottom. I don't know if it was a bug or browser issue, but I got it to work eventually.

When I click on a Segment, when the list of contacts is displayed within that particular segment, none of the contacts are clickable to retrieve in-depth Contact Details. This doesn't seem to be a problem for the "Lists" or "Tags" sections, only "Segments."

I'm sending out campaigns with multiple instances of the same link target, but displayed in different places within the email newsletter (using both text and images) When I get my report, the Heat Map displays only the first(top) instance of that particular link target and registers it as the only click location for ALL instances -- even though it's safe to assume the link is also being clicked elsewhere in the newsletter by other subscribers. The only option I can think of is to use a delimiter like ? with unique string queries to show up on their respective areas on the click Heat Map. e.g. "www.samplelink.com/?1" "www.samplelink.com/?2" "www.samplelink.com/?3" etc However setting this up takes extra time. Can we fix this so I know exactly where the links are being clicked within the email, even though they go to the same target?

It seems like this is a relatively popular request. At the BASIC MINIMUM it would help if, once breaking the login timeout threshold, Constant Contact would actually LOG OUT and automatically forward us to the login screen. Instead, if coming back after an extended time, it's easy to restart where you left off and complete some actions before unceremoniously being informed via popup that you are no longer logged in and need to refresh and log back in again -- thereby wasting time and adding to frustration. Why doesn't CC just automatically forward you to the login screen upon timing out?

When going into campaign reporting to see opens while it's nice to have a separate dropdown for both "Unique" and "All" opens, it's not clear which audience members opened an email more than once, particularly when they are non-consecutive. It would help if there was a way to sort columns by email in the "All opens" view, so that I can see which emails have multiple opens listed, with their open dates/times listed together for better understanding of individual's repeat open behavior.

@Caitlin_M respectfully, literally EVERYONE understands that login/logout is to protect sensitive info. That's the whole point for pretty much ANY private login. We get that. However, you have a significant sample size of your customers lamenting that we feel we get logged out too quickly. Not everyone is a savvy copywriter or graphic design specialist, and a great many of us work from our SECURE, private home office computers. Some people take more than 15 minutes to compose a *regular* email, nevermind one with graphical overlays and typesetting adjustments. This is why it's nice to come back to creating newsletters after an hour or two (or three) of a break to rest our creative minds, or awaiting feedback from test emails. The very least you can do, is replace the "Remember My Username" with "This is a private computer" to increase the login cookie timeout duration.

In the "Contact Details" popup panel,
when looking at an individual contact's Engagement, in the list of emails sent, opened, clicked, etc
These should all have clickable links navigating to the corresponding target that is being referred to.
For instance, the Campaign name in quotations should be clickable to that specific campaign's reporting page.
Especially the reporting of "a link" clicked should navigate to the target of whatever that link is. If an email has several links, I have to literally go to that Campaign's reporting page to figure out, which link was it? This should be answerable right there on the Engagement popup panel.

I posted a new suggestion for the EXACT same thing, and then stumbled upon this thread. I upvoted this for prioritization. @Frankie_P I know that "we do not have a time estimate of when this feature will be updated" is an easy canned response, but as someone who understands scripting, I know that it's simply a fix of literally one *tiny* little integer on your backend for cookie expiry. The idea that it could take your dev team many months to rectify is extremely dubious... Security concerns are appreciated, but yes MANY of us login at home on our personal desktops, and need to come back to a campaign build after a lunch break or similar. Don't wanna keep logging in overandoverandoverandover....

Can we get longer logins? It seems I get auto logged out after what, one hour? Two, maybe?? The "Remember My Username" checkbox is old and deprecated now that browsers can handle username/password autofills. It should rather be "Keep Me Logged In" for longer sessions of at LEAST three hours or more. While I can appreciate some larger organizations have different members for logins, I don't think those who intentionally opt-in for a longer session really worry about unauthorized access.
