When I look for information about setting up a Donate button for my emails, the instructions say to click the More block under Action Blocks. Unfortunately, there is no More block!
How do I set up a Donate button, and how do I link it to WePay?
I don't want to get too specific with account details, but it looks like a template was designed for you by our professional services team. It appears to be designed in an updated version of our editor, which does not currently have the Donation block feature. If you were to create a new campaign from the template picker, such as Basic Announcement, the Donation Block would be there (not all templates in the picker have been updated to the new editor). We are sharing feedback with our developers about a request to include the Donation block in the updated editor.
When creating the Donation block, it will direct you to set up your Donation landing page. There will be an option to link your WePay account on this page.
Collect Donations Through an Email
The Donate button is such a common part of an email campaign that it needed to be there yesterday. How is it not universally available in your updated editor? I shouldn't have to start from scratch with Basic Announcement, as I've spent hours modifying the template you gave me. When I requested the template, I specifically said that I would be soliciting donations, and yet no one told me that there was no Donate button. How is this possible?
The lack of a Donate button is delaying my ability to start my email campaign. If you want to keep my business, this needs to be a priority.
I've done a workaround, but it's not optimal. I would prefer a standard Donate button. How soon will you make it available for the latest editor?
