Hello @KandasamyG. I see that you also chatted with our Support team this morning but I wanted to reply here as well. In the event, there is an option for your contacts to join your mailing list. When this option is selected in the Event Basics, a checkbox will appear on the registration form.
The text you are seeing on the registration form will appear regardless if this option is selected or not. I apologize for the confusion and it is something we've noted on your account.
