Events 2.0 Beta lacks the ability to change the Payment Status or the number of tickets or items.
Scenario: Registrant selects two of three available tickets and payment by check. After registration, the registrant wishes to purchase the third ticket and sends a check for three tickets. Event administration receives the check and cannot change the Payment Status from Pending to Paid or add the third ticket to the registration.
Need this feature asap! How are we gonna run an accurate report to see who hasn't paid if we can't even update their (check) payment status? Not acceptable!
We're updating the status of this idea to more accurately reflect its current status with our engineering team, and also made slight changes to the subject line in order for it to be more easily found. We can't guarantee a commitment to deliver on this feature request, but it should indicate some awareness that we have heard your feedback and could be taken under consideration for a future release.
In the new event module, when a participant pays by check it is not possible to change the payment status from pending to paid when the check is received. This was something that was possible in the old event module.
We need the ability to change the Payment Status and the number of tickets on event registrations. The current deficiency in Events 2.0 prevents the event administrator from accurately recording payments received and maintaining the number of registered tickets.

The subject line does not accurately reflect the reported issue. The subject line should include "Ability to update payment status and ticket numbers manually"
As there was not an existing Idea thread for updating payment statuses yet, that is why your thread was utilized for tracking this request, rather than merged into one of these existing threads for editing tickets / guests.
When CC update the event creation forms and the event registration forms, it made a lot of good changes. However, we can no longer alter the payment status of a registrant. It would be helpful if we could change the payment status of a registrant.
Why are we unable to update a registrant's payment status? We could in legacy and yet we can't in the new system. This is much more work and backwards.
