Changing Account ownership

I called your support line and was walked through how to change account ownership. I told the woman that I still needed my account to use just not the owner anymore. She assured me that all I was doing was changing the ownership.

 

She was wrong. Luckily I didn't believe her and set up an account to another email address because once I changed the "My Account" information, it no longer recognized me.

 

A very poor interface. You should allow the account owner to pass their role to another user.

Hi @CharlesC253 thanks for sharing this feedback with us! We apologize for any confusion there may have been with updating the information on your account. Transferring or updating account ownership will cause the new listed owner to be recognized on the account. Is this not what you intended to do? What did you expect to happen instead when changing account ownership?
