Contacts - Confusion on where Copy / Paste Multiple contacts is located

I see you no longer allow copy / paste of multiple emails which is horrible for me. At the end of each week I copy and paste my emails over. Sometimes there's quite a few. It's a horrible change that my whole office is upset about. PLEASE CHANGE THIS BACK!!! There's over 20 of us using your product here, all of which are upset!

Hi everybody,

My name is Mike and I'm the Product Manager over the Contacts experience. I'm in charge of the Contacts product and that includes working out what customers want to help the business to build the right product.

I got this one wrong. It was not my intention to fully get rid of the paste functionality, but felt the table flow's benefits was too good to not release it immediately. I sincerely apologize for the disruption to your business and day. I am very empathetic to having your day derailed by something outside of your control.

We are working on adding the paste functionality to the new page as soon as possible, within 5-10 days. In the meantime, you can still reach the old page to continue your normal flow by going directly to the old flow: https://ui.constantcontact.com/rnavmap/distui/contacts#imports/new_by_email

Thank you,

Mike

HORRIBLE decision! You've just added a lot of time to my daily tasks. After 10+ years with CC, perhaps it's time to give a try.

Bring back the paste option for adding contacts

Hi @DanielM807. This option has not been removed. Please see the pinned comment above for the workaround.

Caitlin, very misleading statement.

1. It has been moved.

2. It's on its way out per the pinned comment

Dont say it's just moved when you are planning to get of it and moved it where it's not easily found.

Hello, the feature to "add multiple contacts" has changed and now we have to add one person/name/etc. at a time?! this creates a huge waste of time. we used to be able to copy and paste lists from our other sources of contacts. many people sign up for my mailing list on paper by hand and then I type it all in at once. now i have to do it one at a time, row by row? please change this back immediately. i host live events regularly and people sign up by hand on a notepad and I need to be able to type all of those lists into one file and then copy and paste it into ADD CONTACTS without having to do it separately for each person. it is too time consuming for business owners to have to add each person one at a time.

thank you.

Please do not eliminate the Copy and Paste function. It makes creating email lists a lot easier for my team and saves a ton of time. The new methods are not practical and time-consuming. How did your team not recognize this?

Please bring back the old page where we can copy/paste a bunch of emails at once instead of having to add them one by one.

Same. Why would anyone want to enter them one by one? Please bring back the old page. I don't have time for this.

This change of not allowing copy/paste of approved email addresses is ABSOLUTELY KILLING MY WORKFLOW!!!!!!!!!!!

I frequently need to quickly copy and paste email addresses in bulk from Outlook distros and various other places into a list in Constant Contact. It seems that option has been removed?

I need this function to update my lists. Creating and formatting spreadsheets just to upload contacts is not going to work.
