Editing an email created on a computer on your mobile device

Why can't you "edit" such as adding a photo taken on your iphone to your computer created email while you are away from your computer and vice versa.

Are you having this experiencing when editing your email directly through the Constant Contact mobile app? Or through the browser on your mobile device?
