[Events 2.0] Automatically create a notification email for cancelled registrations and events

0 Votes

Constant Contact should offer the feature to send individuals an event cancellation email. When I cancel a person from attending an event, they are not notified of the cancellation.

We're updating the status of this idea to more accurately reflect its current status with our engineering team, and also made slight changes to the subject line in order for it to be more easily found. We can't guarantee a commitment to deliver on this feature request, but it should indicate some awareness that we have heard your feedback and could be taken under consideration for a future release.

At this time, sending automatic cancellation emails when an event is cancelled isn't on our road map. If there's a change to the idea's status with the devs, or an increase in requests for its development, we'll update this thread accordingly.

If you wish to send cancellation emails to your registrants, you can create an email to be sent to your registrants, informing them of the cancellation. If you wish to send it to a contact list, an invite email can be created or copied from, and edited to remove the actual invitation links. A regular email from outside the event can also be created to be sent to the preferred list(s).
