Integrations - WIX, Ability to Choose Which List Contacts Are Synced Into

The integration with Wix pulls contacts and product info from your site to your Constant Contact account, a one-directional transfer. Can you elaborate on how you're wanting your events registrants to tie into the integration's functions?

Yeah of course... what I'm looking to do is keep track of just the people who registered for a certain event (our conference), and pull them into a constant contact list rather than manually upload from Wix to a list so they can receive specific event email updates. Similar to the product segmentation but not from only product but from an event.

Is there already a way to do this?

So in this instance, the contacts are not actually event registrants originating from the Constant Contact event tool, but from your Wix site, correct? The way the Wix integrations works is that it adds contacts to specific lists based on their activity on your site - purcahses, sign ups, etc. So at this time peope who've registered for an event generated via your Wix site would not have a dedicated list, without requiring a manual file upload.

To summarize, and make sure I'm tracking the feedback accordingly, the baseline is that you're requesting the ability to manually select what list(s) your Wix contacts are imported into, rather than using the automatically generated lists that pull contact info based on their activity. Is this correct?

From a generally baseline yes or at least also automatically pull the event info too into a generated list.

We're updating the status of this idea to more accurately reflect its current status with our engineering team, and also made slight changes to the subject line in order for it to be more easily found. We can't guarantee a commitment to deliver on this feature request, but it should indicate some awareness that we have heard your feedback and could be taken under consideration for a future release.
