Limit responses to survey pages from one computer

On survey's, you used to be able to limit it to be taken only one time by a person or email address.  Now, it can be taken as many times as they wish and results get skewed.

This is by far the dumbest thing you have ever done and without even telling us.

Please fix this as soon as possible.

@Frankie_P  Why would you allow each contact to complete a survey as many times as they want?! That makes the entire process useless since the results are not going to be accurate. The correct way to perform a survey is to allow each participant to complete the survey one time only!!!

This thread/request started in 2021 and CC hasn't corrected this flaw?  We just spent hours developing a survey only to find out we can't limit the responses?  Maybe Google Forms isn't so bad after all ...

There is a sort of comedy to this - especially how the moderator acts like this is some new idea that has to basically be upvoted to be considered.  We had been using the previous survey version for over a decade for elections and we had no idea the one vote per computer/ip address thing was gone (we have not had an election since the new survey was introduced).  It's an unbelievably basic thing to have as an option.  We figured it out because one a**hat voted dozens of times and thankfully didn't do it anonymously.  Like so many others have said, this is the type of stupidity that makes one leave the platform.  How is anyone sitting in meeting after meeting and deciding that removing this option is a good idea?  Our new Board starts in January and finding a new platform will be on the first to-do list.
