Please keep the legacy event tool

Please just give the legacy events tool a face-lift, while keeping all of its functions and features. The new events tool is not suited for our types of events.

The legacy event tool is too old and incompatible with the current email, landing page, and other systems - it needs to retire.

If you have feedback on specific functionalities you want to see in the event tool, I'd advise posting in a relevant [Events 2.0] Ideas thread, or making a new Ideas thread with specific feedback on what you're looking for. If you have multiple ideas, I'd advise making individual Ideas threads.
