Is it possible to make bulk changes to remove tags?
We have a process where customers are moved to different segments (tags) based upon tenure or other variables. Means we need to remove multiple tags (don't know how to do) and add tags (easy to do).

Thinking about this, I suppose I could download the current tags, remove the ones I don't need, delete the current tag from CC, then create a new tag, and upload to the new tag. Although still wonky, it would have been faster than manually deleting 50+ tags.
Hello @BrianJ557 ,
To mass-remove tags from contacts, simply select the contacts (whether that's a select-all by clicking the top-most checkmark box or individually selecting), then go to Actions > Remove tag.
You can also utilize segments if you're needing to consider certain criteria (such as engagement, list membership, etc.), then create a list from that segment for easier mass-add/removal of tags for those particular contacts.
What we need to do is upload lists, and rather than add tags, we would need to remove tags. That's what I meant by a batch (bulk) tag removal.
Btw, I did a deeper dive into segments, and there are useful filtering capabilities, so I don't have to do it offline, thx. But doesn't help me with batch tagging.
Hello @BrianJ557,
Removing the tags in bulk would have to happen after the list has already been uploaded. Uploading will always add and update existing contacts, but it won't remove anything that is already there. Please see the steps above on how to remove tags that you don't need anymore in bulk. Thanks!

Hello @BrianJ557,
That is definitely a method you can choose for this!
