I do apologize that you are running into this! This is actually a known defect we are currently experiencing with Vimeo videos. I would be happy to track it on your account, and have our engineering team reach out to you with any updates or fixes we have on that.
For now, we have a few workarounds you can certainly try:
1:
- Visit video on Vimeo
- Copy Link from the Share option by clicking the paper plane icon
- Insert the newly copied share link into a video block
Note: Some users have had luck copying the URL in the Embed Code section of the share popup rather than the direct video share URL.
2: Create an image of video and insert it as a clickable image to link to the video
3: In some cases, it has been stated that removal of the "s" from "https" in the video URL can resolve the issue
4: Try setting the video thumbnail in Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/blog/post/turn-any-video-frame-into-a-thumbnail
5: In some cases, it has been stated that if you delete the video block and then add it back in with the same URL it will resolve the issue
