I think that for our operation it will be useful if in the Lists page you could add a column to state the last date in which a contact was updated, that will help us streamline feedback to our customers. 

 

Another idea is to add an e-mail switch so that every time a contact is added to an specific list we receive an e-mail so that we could follow up rapidly.

Last date edited is an existing column option for sorting on the Contacts page.

Regarding the second part, while we do have subscriber update emails, there isn't currently a way to notify you when a contact updates their info, or for each individual sign-up. For voicing of use cases and voting, please see this Ideas thread
