How does one group a large list of email addresses into many small groups, eg., of 10 in each group? These groupings would not be based on any particular characteristics as in "segments" but rather more manageable chunks for personalization. Thank you.

Hello @JayM4501 ,

There isn't really a way to do this in-product that wouldn't be just going through, selecting contacts individually, and then moving them into a newly made list with each selected group.

You could potentially do this through a spreadsheet program a little quicker:

  1. Export your big contact list, and download it. You only really need the email addresses, since that's what denotes a unique contact, and a reupload of existing contacts with just emails will avoid changing any other contact data.
  2. Open the downloaded file in your preferred spreadsheet program (Excel, Numbers, Google Sheet, etc.)
  3. Highlight a selection of contacts, copy and paste them into a new spreadsheet. Save this spreadsheet with an identifiable name, such as the name of the new list you'll be making for it, or something generic like SMALLER LIST 1. Close out of that new list spreadsheet, and open another new, blank one. Repeat this process until you've split up your larger list completely.
  4. Upload those smaller list files, and add them to newly made lists each time.
