Tutorial: Insert a Donation Block Into Your Email

I'm sending a personalized email to thank donors for participating in a recent fundraiser. I've inserted individual names and donation amounts but when I test the email for accuracy the donation amount is incorrect. It is from a previous campaign, not the one I am writing about.

Hi @SusanJ7552 ,

I took a peek at your campaign and the contacts you tested it to. It appears you have two different custom fields - one called Donation Amount, and the other called Amount Donated. The Donation Amount is the one that is inserted into your campaign, is it possible that Amount Donated is the correct field?

In one of the redesigns of the constant contact "experience" all the fields in my contact records got messed up. For instance the zip code now appears in one of the custom fields which was an answer to the question of where the subscriber heard about our list. A bunch of data either got lost or moved to a different field. I bet that is what happened to @SusanJ7552. I sincerely hope Constant Contact will eventually do something to rectify this mess they created.

Hello @rcppubs23,

I do apologize that you are having this experience. We will need some examples of email addresses that have this incorrect custom field to do some research on this. This will be caused due to uploading a spreadsheet with that column set to upload under that custom field.
