We have a google form that collects our family's name, school event, and their hours because we track volunteer hours for service awards. However, it would be ideal to track with reporting benefits in Constant Contact. How do you do this?

Please note: we do not want to add a done of events into C.C.

we DO want to connect hours with their contact email address for a more robust understanding of their commitment

Ah, I understand. You want to keep a running record of all previous entries. In the case of them updating the landing page form it would overwrite whatever was already in the field, unfortunately. At this time, I do not think there is a specific feature in Constant Contact that would achieve this goal. There is a notes section on each contact where the hours could be recorded, but it would have to be added manually.

There might be an integration you could leverage that would connect with Constant Contact.

Hi @LaurenS6942,

For clarification, the hours are self-reported on the Google form, correct? So, you could export a spreadsheet with the Google Form information, assuming it is tied to the same email address the family has listed in your Constant Contact account, and upload it into Constant Contact by adding the service hours in as a custom field. It will update the existing contact profile in your account with the new information.

Create and manage custom contact fields

Import a list of contacts from a file or spreadsheet

I'm also wondering if you could forego using the Google Form altogether and switch to using a landing page from Constant Contact. We have custom pages and lead generation pages, Assuming they have to regularly update the amount of service hours completed, if they fill out the landing page form again with the same email address and new hours in the custom field, it would update the existing contact profile in your account.

@Nick_S

Correct, all hours are self reported and we HOPE they use their same address. This is why I thought a form through C.C. that self fills from the direct address the client received it would be better - do the loading pages do that?

Will the new hours be added together and not 'over-ride' each other?
