auto thank after submitting survey

Hello, we are building a membership survey and would like to build an auto thank you that is sent after the survey response is submitted. How do we do this?

The only thank you / confirmation a survey participant would receive is the thank you page that shows immediately upon submitting their responses. At this time, you'd need to manually send any further correspondence that results from the survey responses.

Why isn't there an option to customize the thank you page/message? We would like to send people to our website once they have completed a survey.
