Following up on Event 2.0 - Copy an existing email to non-responders error, In Events 2.0, when selecting "Create email" > "Copy an existing email" > "Copy an existing email (...Send it as an invitation, to event registrants, or non-responders)," and selecting "Who will be receiving this email? Non-responders", and schedule the email for a date in the future, the email shows as "Scheduled - Emails to non-responders," However, the Scheduled date is incorrect. It does not match the actual scheduled sent date.

This is great but falls short of what is needed. You are allowing for a maximum capacity for all tickets for an event. However, we need to be able to set maximum limits to multiple tickets for events. For example, Breakfast Adult (ticket 1) and Breakfast Child (ticket 2) max. capacity (tickets 1-2) 40, Lunch Adult (ticket 3) and Lunch Child (ticket 4) max. capacity (tickets 3-4) 60, Dinner Adult (ticket 5) and Dinner Child (ticket 6) max. capacity (tickets 5-6) 80.

The Events 2.0 Event Ticket "xx left" notes for the ticket on the registration page does not match the "Quantity available." When setting up a new event with no current registrations, the "Quantity available" is set for 19 but the ticket shows only "17 left" for the ticket on the registration page.

The "Draft - Email invite" as shown under the event Event-related campaigns were sent as scheduled although they were clearly showing as "Draft - Email invite." This is a serious problem we had 6 "Draft - Email invite" for an event and all 6 were sent.

@Caitlin_M, the same wording would be nice. However, it's not the wording that's concerning, it's the number of registrants under Marketing > Events list that displays in error and does not match the actual number of registrants.

Events 2.0 email Event Action Block needs more editing flexibility. The Action Event Block includes content that cannot be deleted such as price and abbreviated date. Earlier versions of Events 2.0 allowed this editing but the current version does not.

Catlin: That would be ideal. If nothing else, the actual number of registrants under Marketing > Events should match up with the number of registrants as shown under Event Overview - Tickets or Reporting - Tickets. The number of individual tickets or link to the Reporting > Inventory page would be helpful and eliminate a few clicks.

The Events 2.0 "Thank you for registering for.." Registration confirmed! email sent to the registrants lacks important details such as payment instructions. When "Pay by" : Check is selected, the Payment instructions: are not included in the Registration confirmed email. Also, the "Registration complete!" page lacks a print option.

There should be a way to create tickets for an event with multiple events/sessions over multiple days at different locations and have this information properly denoted in "Summary for order..." in the email confirmation and on the individual tickets as seen when clicking on the "View tickets" link in the "Thank you for registering" email confirmation sent after registering for an event.

Shockingly, this issue has remained unresolved for almost a decade now, even with "an updated event experience in a more advanced tool," aka Events 2.0. If we cannot enable the registrants to update their registration online, then the event administrator must be able to edit the number of tickets and payments to balance the books. More thought needs to go into managing event registrations and ticket sales. Let's look at this as an accountant. If ticket payments have not been made, the registrant or event admin should be able to edit and change the number of tickets. If a payment has been made, this further complicates matters (need for refunds or additional payments) but is doable with standard accounting procedures that should be incorporated into Constant Contact to make Events 2.0 a more viable event management tool. Regrettably, the "more advanced tool" (Events 2.0) has fallen far short of being useful.

Currently, in Events 2.0, we cannot delete Tickets, add-ons & codes. We should be able to delete them (not merely pause them) before the event is published and open for orders/registration. Paused (unused) tickets appear and clutter to export reports.

The new editor you can remove the image and other build blocks but you cannot remove the event price block 😐 Let's bring back the HTML editor so we can edit and customize our email campaigns, event invitations, landing pages, etc.

More thought should be given to the Quantity available for tickets. When setting the quantity available for an event with multiple ticket amounts, you may not necessarily want to set the quantity for each ticket but the overall tickets available. Scenario 1: The Pot Luck Dinner event has two tickets, one for adults and one for children with different prices. The capacity of the room is 100 people. You would set the quantity available for the total of all tickets to 100, and not individual tickets. To complicate matters further: Scenario 2: The Pot Lunch Dinner has optional after-dinner movie tickets, adult and child with different prices. The quantity of movie tickets available would be separate from the Pot Lunch Dinner quantity available.

Now that we have the option to change the payment status from Pending to Paid, and Paid to Refunded or Pending, we are missing the ability to change the number of tickets or items; see original message. Administrator, please change the subject line to reflect the original idea accurately. Also, on the exported reports, "Payment Date" for Paid tickets notes the Registration Date, not the date the payment status was changed. We need the ability to change the Payment Method so the export reports reflect the proper payment method.

Unlike Legacy Events, Events 2.0 does not display a list of "Who's Registered" on event registration pages. This information is crucial to developing community, e.g.,. "Hey Frankie, look, I see the Jones' are registered for this event. Let's go to see them."

When attempting to change and replace a subscribed contact's email address, we receive "This email address already exists in your account." The replacement email address does not appear in Contacts. Although the replacement email address was used by a previously deleted contact.

This Events 2.0 deficiency and feature downgrade from Legacy Events is causing a major problem when registrants fill in the registration form with an email address different than that on file with Constant Contact. Follow-up/reminder event invitations to non-responders are sent to event registrants.

We need the ability to change the Payment Status and the number of tickets on event registrations. The current deficiency in Events 2.0 prevents the event administrator from accurately recording payments received and maintaining the number of registered tickets. Unlike Legacy Events, Events 2.0 lacks the contact's email address embedded in the event invitation "Register" (and decline) button hyperlink coding, i.e., http://events.r20.constantcontact.com/register/regform?oeidk=..., which in addition to identifying the event, also identifies the registrant by their (Constant Contact stored) email address, and automatically populates the "Email Address" field in the registration form. This not only speeds up the registration process (less inputting) but also aids in ensuring the registrant uses the CC-stored email address, and helps prevent placing multiple registrations for an event, if this Legacy Event function worked in Events 2.0 - see this thread.

Unlike Legacy Events, Events 2.0 allows duplicate registration and does not prompt the registrants "You are already registered for this event" when attempting to register for an event previously registered. This is problematic and needs to be corrected.
