It would be interesting to know what happens in the nearly two years between when this issue was acknowledged and when they informed us it is "not currently planned." No discussion between those two "ratings."   And it would be even MORE interesting to be informed of the reasoning for not plan ning it. Not enough people asking for it? Too much coding required? (That would seem odd since the ability to do it has existed in previous edit platforms.)   The catch-all explanation for most features that have been taken away when the interface gets redesigned it that it needs to be mobile friendly, but I see no way the lack of being able to edit the text version could be considered detrimental to mobile friendliness. ...
