Cross Device editor doesn't support dynamic images

Your regular editor supports adding images via URL like this one: https://img1.niftyimages.com/8ff/sfid/o-6d But the cross-device editor doesn't allow it, saying it's not a valid format. It's expecting it to have a .gif or .jpg ending.

I apologize you are unable to insert the countdown timer in your cross-platform editor campaign! At this time, we are unable to support that type of link within the cross-platform editor.

 

There is currently a feature request open for this to be resolved, so I will go ahead and tag that on your account and have our engineering team reach out to you with any updates or resolutions on this.
