Random photo in newsletter?

We have a newsletter that's ready to go out, but an old photo keeps appearing when we send a test of it. It's not in the newsletter as a draft so we can't delete it that way. We rebuilt/designed the whole newsletter, but couldn't get rid of it. Anyone have this experience? How do we handle it?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I do apologize that you are having this experience with your email newsletter. Can you please try sending yourself a test in a different browser to troubleshoot why this may be happening? Also, can you please try to delete the incorrect image in your library and then sending yourself a test to see if that fixes this? Thank you!

I actually did both of those things and it kept happening. It was very strange, and has apparently happened once before (a colleague had the same experience; interestingly, it was the same experience with the same image). The image that was occurring is nowhere in our image library any longer and didn't appear when I was drafting the newsletter, but suddenly appeared when I previewed it or sent myself a test email. I tried eliminating all of the images and text around it, and it still kept appearing. 

 

I ended up solving it by entirely rebuilding the newsletter in a fresh template, but obviously that took a bit of time. I'd love a quicker solution if it happens again. It seemed like a true bug. There was nothing I could do or delete that seemed to solve it, so I had to abandon it.
