Tutorial: Add back an unsubscribed contact

I have an organization where members went through a process of becoming members.  However, when I put a new member into a contact list they are shown as unsubscribed.  It does not seem possible to go to my list and ask them to go through additional steps that they assume are already included with their membership.  Is there a way for me to recategorize them?

Hi @richardm9458 ,

Great question! To re-subscribe a contact, you will first need to add the deleted contact back into your account. Although it's telling you that the contact has unsubscribed, you should still be able to click the "Edit" button when you are seeing that message, and then save the contact. The contact will then be saved under your unsubscribed contacts, and you should be able to follow the re-subscribe process as normal.
