[Events 2.0] Registrant Count Misleading with Canceled Registrations Included

In the event module if a registrant cancels they are still counted in the overall event registration count giving the organizer a misleading account of how many people are actually coming.

We're updating the status of this idea to more accurately reflect its current status with our engineering team, and also made slight changes to the subject line in order for it to be more easily found. We can't guarantee a commitment to deliver on this feature request, but it should indicate some awareness that we have heard your feedback and could be taken under consideration for a future release.

The number of registrants on the "Campaign" page is incorrect.  It does not accurately reflect the number of registrants which can be seen on the event page.

Hi there,

I appreciate the feedback around reporting. A few thoughts:

  1. We can consider having the view defaulted to the "Registered" filter so that cancelations are not shown in the initial view unless you choose to pull them in.
  2. We are releasing a change next month to the reporting metrics from the "campaign" pages so that:
    • Registrations will be a count of orders/registrations completed and not a unique count of registrants by email like it is using today
    • Tickets redeemed are also visible from this view (1 registration may have 20 tickets which this will now surface)
    • Add-ons redeemed are also visible from this view

Thanks again!
