Social Post - Twitter Image Size

0 Votes

Can you change the image size for a Twitter post to be at 1:1 pixel ratio, i.e. square? For example, for Facebook and Instagram postings, I use the same image, 1080 x 1080 pixel. However, on your CC dashboard Twitter requires a different pixel ratio, rectangular as a matter of fact. Which means extra work because I have to configure a separate image just for my Twitter post. I know Twitter accepts a square image. I did a manual post directly on their app that validates this. Thank you.

Hi @AngelicaD9

Thanks for sharing this feature request with us! Image ratios of 1:91:1 and 4:5 are the most compatible with the link preview across all social networks. We have however opened up your idea so other users can weigh in as well.

Hi @AngelicaD9. I tested this in my own account and square images display correctly across all platforms when selected from the library. To confirm, is this when sharing a campaign or creating a brand new social post? When viewing a social post within your Constant Contact account, a rectangular image is displayed but on my own Twitter account, I see a square image.

Could you share screenshots with us that show what you see when posting to Twitter?

This issue is no longer. The Twitter image renders correctly as a square image. Thank you.
